Quality Control The goal of precision bending is to reflect the sun's rays as precisely as possible from the mirror to the receiver tubes. The precision of the curve is inspected by laser scanning. The laser beam simulates the parallel structure of sunlight. A camera with a matrix is positioned in the focal line, which has a 70 mm diameter and represents the receiver. The camera reveals the degree of precision with which the reflected beam strikes the tube. Using this procedure, appr. 1000 measurement points are identified from each mirror. |
