So, it goes without saying that our product also delivers outstanding service here too: thanks to its thermal and mechanical properties, finished, toughened is simply ideal for use in truck dashboards and agricultural machinery. Tempered AR glass from FLABEG has been developed specifically for vehicle displays and high-quality display instruments – in general, for applications where safety is of paramount importance. The advantage is that this layer can be thermally toughened, enabling the production of ESG (toughened safety glass) and TVG (annealed glass). Toughened safety glass (ESG) is thermally toughened flat glass with increased mechanical strength and increased resistance to changes in temperature. The break pattern is characterized by a large number of blunt-edged granules of approximately equal size. Annealed glass (TVG) is manufactured in the same way as ESG but with a significantly slower cooling process. Compared with flat glass, it also demonstrates increased mechanical strength. However, the prestress is less than with ESG. Further advantages are the temperature-resistant layer system and high scratch resistance. In a nutshell: ideal for vehicle displays and high-quality display instruments, which remain functional for a long time while continuing to look good. |
