FLABEG Deutschland GmbH Automotive Since its early beginnings as a glass foundry, having been established in 1882 by Sigmund Glaser and Alois and Eduard Kupfer, the Furth im Wald site has experienced a history of development and growth right up to the present day. In the years 1952/1953, it underwent its most radical change, from glass manufacture to glass finishing. This restructuring process included the installation of the first silvering line in Europe. Automotive mirrors have been produced here successfully since back in the 1960s. Reacting quickly to changing market requirements or, even better, shaping them is of course one of the key prerequisites for such a long and successful presence in the marketplace. We work with our motivated team at the location and produce using state-of-the-art technologies. Our expertise in high-precision bending and the continuous optimization of our production processes have made us a global leader in supply to the automotive industry. In Technical Glass, we will expand our market position further through a huge variety of coating options on our modern sputtering plants. |
