| RControl for flat displays High-quality LCD, OLED, TFT or projection displays require a bright, high-contrast imaging surface – particularly if the surrounding light conditions are very bright. FLABEG RControl has been developed specifically for vehicle displays and high-quality display instruments. Consequently, this glass meets precisely those requirements that are indispensable these days in practice for safety reasons. Through the application of nano-fine films on both sides of the instrument panel cover, disruptive light reflection and glare can be reduced to a minimum, so they no longer disturb the driver. The anti-reflection level of more than 99% gives the impression that there is no glass there. His view of the tachometer and other instruments is completely unobstructed, and the space-saving nature of the design is also a hit. So, for greater transparency and a harmonious unit in the automotive interior, look no further than FLABEG RControl! FLABEG RControl optically-coated anti-reflective glass can be manufactured in a variety of shapes. Finishing involving screen printing, laser technology or etching perfects the result. RControl display glass is used for plane glass in various thicknesses, from 0.6 to 1.8 mm • Well-conceived: functional, space-saving design • Safe: anti-reflection level and light transmission of more than 99 % • Layer adhesion • Robust: scratchproof, resistant to chemicals, friction-resistant, • and therefore constantly “like new” Behind this production process lies the technology, magnetron sputtering. This is based on a continuous argon gas discharge, known as plasma. Low-pressure plasma is ignited by a high voltage of up to 1000 V. The target material attached to the magnetron is evaporated by a beam of argon ions and deposited onto the glass surface in a thin, even, compact layer. Unlike with this “non-reactive sputtering” (e.g. metal films), with “reactive sputtering” oxides or nitrides react with gases before they are deposited on the glass surface. Our state-of-the-art vacuum coating system performs reactive and non-reactive sputtering in a single coating process. Dual magnetrons can be used for the efficient and top-quality production of highly insulating, highly resistant silicon oxide films that serve as a basic material for optically functional layers and anti-reflective systems. |
